Default Lodging Suggestions

Hello everyone,

I’m looking to come up soon and do a little sledding. I do a lot of summer boating on the lake, but I’m new to sledding in the lake area. Can anyone recommend a hotel/motel that is reasonably priced and has trail access?

Appreciate any help.

You might try the Allen "A" on Rt 28 (Center Street)heading north out of Wolfeboro, I live close by, and the motel is right on trail NH 26 (Cotton Valley RR tracks) on Lake Wentworth. That is if you want to ride in this area. From there you can access NH 22, NH 19 and head north to Conway and beyond. If you decide to stay there, send me a PM. I'm always looking for someone to ride with.

Fireside's in Gilford is quite reasonably priced, Sled friendly, quick access to trails ...... and heated pool for evening.

Thanks for the suggestions.
We spend most of our time around Gilford & Alton bay during the summer. Because winter will be new for us there, I'm open to most any area around the lake for sledding. Always looking to see and learn new areas.
