Default Winnocturn

Thank you George and Cheryl!

George (Winnocturn) and his wife are great volunteers for the club. They handle all of the mailings and membership tasks. As we have between 650 and 750 members depending on the year, it is a monumental task.

Please keep Cheryl in your thoughts as she goes through a challenging operation this week. (And understand that there may be a delay in receiving your cards, etc). Best wishes Cheryl!!

She is working hard each day to rebuild her strength. She is tentatively being moved to Progressive Care tomorrow and may be there a few more days for more Physical Therapy. After that she is going to Golden View, in Meredith, NH, at their "Short Stay Rehabilitation" Center.

Thumbs up Moved to Progressive Care Yesterday

Things are moving along well. Cheryl was moved to Progressive Care yesterday and she learned today that she will be moved to Golden View in Meredith some time tomorrow for further Rehabilitation. It may be 1 to 2 week stay depending how she progresses.

She has been getting stronger every day.

Thanks to everyone how has been asking how Cheryl has been progressing. The GOOD NEWS is she finished her re-hab at Golden View last week on Wednesday, just in time to be home for Thanks Giving.

We were able to have a traditional Thanks giving Dinner Thursday by way of the Village Kitchen. Early Wednesdays I ordered 4 large Turkey Diners and picked them up around four that afternoon. We repackedged every thing in Corning wear bowls and on Thursday heated everything back up and around Five, sat down to a delicious Thanks Giving Dinner. Desert was provided by EMH Squash and Apple pie topped with a choice of Whipped Cream or Brighams Villella Ice Cream.

Yes it was a very Thankfull Thanksgiving having Cheryl home and Well.
She stills has more time at home to regain all of her stength back and SHE will do it!
