Default MSC CLUB RIDE Saturday Feb 15th

There will be another Club ride this Saturday. Present trail conditions are good and we expect 8 to 12 inches this week! We leave from The Village Kitchen at 8:00 am. Some join us for breakfast at 7:00. This week’s ride will be an easy ride on local trails. We plan to take Corridor #15 to the Castle in the Clouds, then #19 along the rail road tracks in Ossipee to have lunch at the Sunny Villa Restaurant www.sunnyvillarestaurant.com. After lunch we will take #200 back to Tuftonboro and Moultonboro. There is no need to be an advanced rider with the latest and greatest sled. Nor do you need to know how to navigate the trails. Remember to bring a camera as the views from the Castle are great. We plan to return to Moultonboro in the middle of the afternoon. With Thursday’s storm coming, our groomers will be working all day Friday to give us the best riding in recent years!

Here are some group shots from last weekend’s ride. We had 22 people and 20 sleds. Unfortunately, 6 riders had to leave part way through the ride, so they didn’t make the group photo. Nonetheless, it was a great ride! Hope to see you all this Saturday!

Default Great Ride!

Sounds like a great ride. I can't make it on Saturday, but might attempt it on Sunday. Do you have an approximate of how many miles/hours the route would be? Thanks!

what direction are you coming from. If your on winni already you can pick up any of the access points off of Moultonboro Neck trails. If you are coming from the north and have access to lake Kanasatka I'd try to pick up 15 near the old Fullers gas station or behind subway and cut over on the moultonboro trails behind the town garages vs coming over redhill if you are looking for a quick way but I'm sure others more familiar with that north end can let you know better.

Is the Fuller's route still there, I drove by a few weeks ago and didn't see any signage through the yard across from Fullers.

Thanks for the response by the way, I'll be coming from Blackie's cove/ Black Cat area.....

The Trail has been moved to the other side of Fullers and down the hill some. It is just before the "Rental house" and the Church before Jennifer's Path.

Winnocturn did a nice job showing the new cut in below Fullers so thats an option another option where you are coming from is to go around Black Cat into the far corner of Salmon Meadow Cove (I believe) there is a small access trail (narrow) onto 15 comes out near the Christmas Tree farm take a left when you get to 15 and follow over to the VK. That would be the fastest way.

Have fun wish I was going

Default Shaw Lookout

Your post inspired me to take a ride from Laconia through Meredith, past the Village Kitchen, 201 loop/Red Hill, back on 15 to Shaw Lookout (name ?) and back to Laconia. 80 miles on a gorgeous day. Awesome, thanks!
