Default One Night Parent Getaway Advice

Hi! Looking for suggestions on a nice place to stay with my wife for a night away without the kiddos. Have looked at Opechee Inn and like the massage package but that's about it.

Thanks!

I'll have to call them today--no prices on their site. Of course, that probably means it's too expensive, but we'll see!

As a parent of young children myself I applaud the effort to escape any chance you get!

We've done Opechee and it was surprisingly pleasant. Nice being able to walk back to the room after adult beverages.

One of our favorites was http://www.thecentennialhotel.com/ in Concord NH. Great rates, fun to go to the restaurants down town, good location, and really nice room.

Church landing is always spectacular if you can get away on a weeknight. Prices get too steep for us locals on the weekends.

go to Mountainview Grand's website, click on Reservations, click on book it, select the date(s), select the number of nights and people, and then check availability. You will then get the rates for the various options. Note the AAA discount at the bottom of the list.

Default Mill Falls

Church Landing in Meredith has an interesting special for January and first week in February. Reserve two or more consecutive nights and your first night will reflect the temperature as of 5 pm on your day of arrival, as reported by the National Weather Service. The colder it is, the more you save. They also have 20% off spa specials. The Lake House restaurant located at Church Landing is also very nice. There are other inns in the Mill Falls family in Meredith that have cheaper rates.

+1 on Churches Landing. Although I favor The Camp restaurant.

Just a shoutout to Patman for the Stonehurst Manor recommendation--about to leave after our night getaway, and it was perfect.

Default Mountain View Grand

Sue and I stayed at the Mountain View Grand a few years back. Her sister won a weekend getaway package and gave it to us. Use of a couple of snowmobiles, Swedish massage, hot tub, free meals etc.

Good time had by all!
