debris
I along with many others have seen over the past week lots of debree floating about the lake. We realize that the lake is high, and that the trees will be in the water (branches) However what bothers me is the beer bottles, coke cans, and waste from picnics floating in the lake. I am asking that we all try harder to keep the trash out of our waters.

I hate litter
As the wind was coming from the east several days earlier in the week, we had our share of garbage in the water on our side of the lake.
I picked a lot of litter off the beach's edge and from the water last week. It appears that water bottles, plastic bags and worm container lids just can't stay inside boats. As was stated, the tree limbs and that type material is to be expected with the high water but the amount of garbage is disturbing. |
