Default Lots of cars

Went to Portsmouth yesterday and noticed lots and lots of cars, many towing trailers, heading south on I95. I kinda got the idea that summer was starting to be over. Pretty soon the Winnipesaukee-area roads will return to their normal level of traffic, wrong-way street drivers, and u-turn makers will be gone, and the calmness we all appreciate will return. I'm feeling better already!

We had a great Memorial Day weekend, and it looks like we are going to have a great Labor Day weekend.
Everything in between kind of sucked!

Yesterday was the least busy I have seen boating activity than any other Sunday with good weather all summer.

The kids are going back to school and getting more involved in sports. Many families have left. For many years the week leading up to Labor Day has been difficult for rentals to fill.

Many residents think of the first few weeks of September as the best weeks of the summer. There is a lot less traffic, the water is still warm, and it is much easier to find a dock when you go to some of the lakefront towns.
