Max
I have been seeing signs all over Moultonborough saying to stay strong Max, light candles for Max. Any idea who this person is or what it is about? Just curious.

I don't have all the details, but from what I have heard, he is a young man that was involved in an accident, is hospitalized in a coma.

Max update
Some friends were over last night and had a few details on the mysterious Max and all the signs plastered around Moultonboro. Evidently, he was very seriously injured in the horrific motorcycle accident near Bald Peak, when another motorcyclist tried unsuccessfully to pass a truck towing a trailer. Max happened to be the unfortunate cyclist in the oncoming lane. The other cyclist was killed in this tragic accident. Max is still alive, we were told, and is in some rehab…..and it’s going to be a long process for him. There is a GoFundMe for him, and they have raised over $50k for his expenses.

Apparently, I posted inaccurate information on Max’s accident, and for that I apologize. My intention was to be helpful, not to mislead. Whatever the circumstances, I hope this individual recovers.
