Default Gusto Market

We were in Center Harbor on Saturday and on somewhat of a whim, stopped in to Gusto Market to check it out. We bought one piece of chicken parm, two meatballs, focaccia bread, breadsticks, and some prosciutto and pecorino cheese. All that for like 34 bucks. It was awesome! They also have a selection of fresh pasta and italian wines. Definitely going back.

I keep hearing awesome things about Gusto; we drive by it literally every weekend but have never gotten in yet!

Default Just to clarify...

....Note that there is Gusto Restaurant on the main drag, and Gusto Market, which is up behind it somewhat adjacent to Dewey's ice cream. They are under the same ownership, but the Market is just "buy and fly"...no seating or eating.

Default Gusto and Twin Barns Brewery

This Friday from 4 pm to 8:30 Twin Barns will feature Gusto sandwiches and meatballs. Should be a great combination!

Arrow Gusto bear-in-dumpster alert

Thursday morning, yesterday April 28 about 11-am; looked like a bear got into that Gusto dumpster on the edge of the parking lot, out back, and moved about four shredded trash bags onto the pavement.

Could become a regular customer with all that Gusto good stuff.....

Wonder what the bear had to say after that yummy feed?

Probably just a simple “gratzie” or “gratzie Mille”

Gusto is simply amazing! You really need to stop. We drove by it many times as well and finally stopped one day. Then I kicked myself for not stopping sooner! They are only open for breakfast and lunch. I really wish they’d serve dinner as well. The couple that own and operate it are wonderful people and their staff is equally amazing. We have a disabled son and the owners and many of the staff go out of their way to come over and welcome him back every time we are in there. It’s an authentic taste of Italy right in Center Harbor! During the summer we like to sit at their outside tables. After taking a bite of food and gazing at the lake for a moment I’m transported back to the shores of Lake Como.

You had to post this today, huh? We went out at 8 this AM and my son said "Gusto! Gusto!" but we had to hit up a store on the other side and ended up at Village Kitchen which was once again underwhelming.

*sigh*

Was heading to Dewey’s and stopped by Gusto’s for their wine tasting which i guess they hold every Thursday night. The owner is great as was the wine.
