Bike Night?
Is there anyone with any information about possible bike nights in the area?
we used to ride with a group of 30 or so every week and had a blast...each week we went in different directions, and got to the point where places would put out buckets of wings or such just because of the business we brought in.....not looking for free food just a good ride |

There doesn't seem to be anyone doing it this season. I am contemplating having one at our shop, but to be honest, it is a lot of work, and it seems like no matter what you think will work, the peanut gallery always expects more. I was at a car show recently listening to the participants complain, that there was no food. I always thought the idea was to get some cool cars together, shoot the breeze, admire other cars, and then go to dinner after, or eat before. Seems like people now want a place to show their car, games, and or raffles they can win $$$. It ends up being a big expense for the show sponsor. I am thinking that I would be willing to do one maybe once a month june-sept. But I would keep it to the basics, offer hamburgers hot dogs, cold soda and water, maybe a 50/50 raffle, and that is about it. Let me know if you think there is enough interest.

WBB...I can think of 6 or 7 people that would jump on the idea, as I said food was an option, we're looking for a place to meet up go for a nice ride stop for a bite to eat maybe a beer and then ride some more...the wing thing was just our regular stops that threw out some wings just to say thanks for stopping by (but that was after stopping there a few times) what we really need is a steady ride
