Default New England boiled dinner

Back in the mid-seventies or so I had occasion to travel to the lakes region in the spring time and being hungry i stopped at a now long-gone hole in the wall restaurant in Lakeport and ordered their New England boiled dinner.

Loved it.

Any other restaurants in the lakes region currently serve a tasty version of this regional specialty?

Kathleen’s Irish Pub in Bristol and The Waterhorse in Franklin (same owner) serve the NE boiled dinner all year round! Very good too!

Default Country Cook'n at the Lakeside

I'm not sure if it's all year round, but the Lakeside in Gilford has the NE Boiled Dinner as a Thursday night special.

Mr. V, I'm thinking that it may have been the Schooner Restaurant, located just off Elm St and Union Ave, and behind the Lakeport Fire Station. It ended up being called Avery's.

If so, it was great food. Roland sadly passed away at a fairly young age.

Now back to the regularly scheduled program...

Default T-Bones

On occasion, T-Bones will have a special NE boiled dinner. It is delicious!

I think Patrick's Pub has boiled dinner on their menu.

I miss Schooner / Avery's restaurant. It is right next to the marina!

Right now, the family enjoys the Social Club on Elm. Best ice cream and cookies!
