Wow! I don't see any tire marks on the grass. Any idea how it went in? It looks like they got out OK, the water is shallow.

Hope there are no injuries. |

If only there were barriers to keep this from happening.

I see it. Looks like he hit the guardrail and went airborne into the drink.

Very insightful, Think. I agree. Bollards would have done the trick based on where the car veered from the road. Thankfully it seems no one was injured.

Mercedes SUV plunges into water near yacht club in Gilford
Mercedes SUV plunges into water near yacht club in Gilford
https://www.wmur.com/article/mercede...qOaK3Eg3b0HOE8 A Mercedes SUV ended up in the water Sunday in Gilford after the driver suffered an apparent medical emergency, the fire department said. Gilford Fire Rescue said a woman was driving with her daughter near Weirs Road. The SUV started going off the road near Meadowbrook Lane, went through the woods, through the front lawn of some condos, popped out in front of a business, through a guard rail and into the water. "The car was submerged, I ran over, I called 9-1-1. A couple of other guys were there. It was a mother and her small child. They grabbed a knife, they cut her out of the car. And thank God everyone’s ok," said Kyle Albuquerque, who works nearby. The mother and daughter were taken to the hospital and are expected to be okay. Booms and other absorbing materials were deployed to help with a spill and DES will do an assessment, the fire department said. New Hampshire DOT was called to assess damage to the road and guardrail. |

Without an arresting net, collapsable tarmac and a magnetic force field, this could happen again!

Wrong or Right, I will rush to Judgement, no skid marks of any kind, I would say she was busy messing around with their phone, probably never saw it coming. Thankfully no one was killed.

The speculation on this and the Looney Bin accident by people who have no idea what actually happened is ridiculous.
It might be best to wait until the investigations are complete and the facts are known. Just a thought. |

I was told by a Mt View employee that the police were running the plate number to determine ownership.. maybe the victim was unable to give them that info
