Default Snowmobile Tours

I know we don’t have a lot of snow in the area currently, but can anyone suggest a place(s) to look into for a guided snowmobile tour, with rentals in the lakes region? I see a bunch further north but would like to stay more local for various reasons.

Looking to take the family out at some point this winter when conditions alllow.

With skiing up in the air I figure this would be a nice diversion, and maybe a way to convince the wife to let me get a couple sleds if everyone enjoys it.

Default .... up in Stink'n Lincoln

Rt 93-Exit 32 or Exit 33, up in Stink'n Lincoln, NH: www.sledventures.com which also rents out atv-four wheeler's that have four fat tires for when the snow is not here.

Distance from Exit 23-New Hampton, the lakes region, driving north up Rt 93 to Exit 33 - Stink'n Lincoln is about 33-miles, or maybe 30-minutes, driving time.

Default Just a thought

Just a thought. Whereas trails in the lakes region may be a bit "rustic" (bumpy), if you want to impress the wife, strongly consider heading north to find better trails and smoother riding. I know my wife wasn't crazy about snowmobiling, but would put up with it if the trails were smooth. Also, don't skimp on snowmobile clothing. A cold wife will not be a happy wife.

They both rent and have guided tours. Rented from them in the past when we were without our sleds. Twin mountain has nice trails, but can be a bit crowded at times. A lot of the time we go mid-week. Agree with uptakesaukee, local trails can be a bit rough and tight, probably not the best for first time riders.

^^^^^Agree with what PBR said above ^^^^^

Take a look at their "Great Northwoods Overnight Tour" for the money, it can't be beat!

We have used Sweet Rides out of Madison NH. We did an overnight up in Gorham 2 years ago. It was awesome.
