Another Alton Bay Landmark bites the dust

Just took the youngest Arg-ling to play mini golf at Jay's. Had a great time, as always. I think the little guy was trying to drown his ball. He seemed to consider it a bigger success to get it in the water than to get it in the hole!

Heard that the owner might be considering putting the place on the market because he has too much on his plate. I guess he's purchased a new property in NY and will be putting his energy into that. I wish him every good success.

I think Jay's has brought some new interest to the area, along with some of the other new businesses in the Bay. I sincerely hope that if the property does change hands that the new owner keeps up the great service and fun little course...
