If you wait long enough, there is always a freebie tow that shows up. It's simple, just jump up and down, and wave a paddle around like a nut.....it works every time.

Or you can just join a BoatUS for $50-$100 a year. Then TowBoatUS will tow you for free. SeaTow is similair. It's cheap insurance, especially if you boat during un-crowded times.
