They sure did and I loved the ones they had wrapped up by the cash register soaking up the dressing for a few hours

There used to be a little deli, run by I believe a Greek. kind of near the intersection of Rt. 25 and Pleasant St.. It was on the same side as BarnZ's Movie Theater near the driveway to Meredith Village Savings Bank. I only remember the deli in the early 60's and not much after that. Made great Italian/Greek subs.

Lake Shore Deli. Right next to the Gulf station.

The deli in the house across the street, next to the former JB Scoops, used to be Symonds funeral home. That's Lakeside Deli

Default Key Theatre

Remember going up a flight of stairs to enter the Key Theatre? It was next to AJ's Bait and Tackle.

I I saw the movie "The Music Man" at the Key theatre in August 1962 while vacationing in center harbor. Great memories !!!!!

My first lake time was on Waukewan in the early 60's. A trip into town was highlighted by a stop at the 5 & 10 for a new water toy and at the Sundries Shop for penny candy. There was a gas attendant who was a little person and he would climb up onto the engine to check the oil. I had no clue what being a little person was like then and it took over 50 years to when the Roloffs and Johnstons shared the life stories on tv to have even a slight idea.
