Ice was out on Lily Pond when I drove by 20min ago. It was 3/4 covered last night.

Yes the wind did it in! There were white caps on it when I drove by around 4:00 PM!!

Ice Out was just declared this afternoon at 4:55 by Emerson Aviation.

As of 8 AM today Smith Cove was still closed to exit or entrance. The ice sheet is still at the docks on both sides.

That's why Ice out is meaningless. If you were trying to launch at 19 mi Bay or libby museum today you couldn't get anywhere.
