The article is well written. If you read beyond the title, a lot of the success of the schools is stated to be attributed to the reasonable precautions of masking and other mitigating measures. My stepson teaches at a small university which had very reasonable guidelines that were followed and the school has had very few problems. And, there still is a lot we don’t understand about the pandemic.
