Motorcycle accident
Last night there was a severe motorcycle accident involving at least 2 riders in front of the Belknap Point Inn shortly after 7:00pm.
I have heard all the “rumors” ...... anyone have the “facts”?? Traffic was detoured through Scenic Point Dr for most of the evening, so it has to have been a quite serious situation.

2 dead I understand. Originally to be Life Flighted to Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Flight cancelled and (2) send to Laconia Hospital. I haven't heard any more than that.

Thoughts and prayer to their son and the rest of their family and friends. So sad and difficult to lose a couple that was so deeply involved in their community.

Says they were at the back of the pack. Probably not driving very fast. Article shows him with helmet and they drove off the road into grassy patch before crashing. And they both died. What are the odds of that? I bet the driver had a heart attack or other health issue, not a bike malfunction. Just a guess.

Losing your parents is tough enough but to be there with them when they both pass has to be extremely hard. My thoughts are with everyone involved.

...... www.facebook.com/george.worthingtonjr ..... this is incredibly sad ..... he, they...... had so much to live for ...... one of the photos shows he had an ornate tattoo on his left upper arm "Live Free or Die" with an American Flag and what looks like a barking bulldog
