12:40 Tornado Alert...
There must have been dozens of boats to witness the phenomenon, based on the panicked rush to get out of Winter Harbor. ![]() Quoting the News Center: Quote:
"WOLFEBORO, N.H. — A strong thunderstorm fired up in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire early this afternoon, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a tornado warning for the area at 12:40 p.m. The storm was at its strongest as it moved from Moultonborough, NH to Wolfeboro, NH. (It seemed to be coming from Tuftonboro, but I could only see half of it). Ethan Vandewater caught it forming an apparent waterspout north of Moose Island, on the east side of Lake Winnipesaukee." Another nasty storm approaching. It's over Meredith now, but is headed directly east—towards Wolfeboro.
Again... ![]() |
