I had no idea there was such a thing as seasonal water.

Don't feel bad. I heard that the town of Newburyport is not even turning on water to Plum Island in order to discourage tourism.
Wouldn't make me very happy if I was a home owner and paying taxes there.

The seasonal water in Alton runs along rte 11 from the area of the bridge outside the Mount Washington dock to around Sandy Point, and along rte 28A (East Side Drive) to the area of Dan Kelly Dr.. There are areas of the ABCCC that are also seasonal.

They are seasonal because the delivery lines are buried very shallow. In fact, you can actually see them above ground in some areas. You can go to the Town of Alton website, then Alton Water Works for more info.
