Washing the boat
Morning All -
Any ideas for the best place to take the boat (on the trailer) to wash it down? Its 20ft and I'm thinking a car wash with area to maneuver a trailer. I live on the Meredith side of the like. Thanks for any thoughts! |

You can buy a nice electric pressure washer for under 200 these days. Nice to have around the house for many other uses besides the boat. They are small, light, don't take up too much space, and easy to use. Just make sure you either drain it, or store it in a heated space over the winter, or the water left in it will freeze and crack something, and it will leak like a sieve the next time you go to use it!!

Behind Wolfeboro-Falls Post Office, Diagonally from Katie's Kitchen...
At Clarke Plaza, Wolfeboro has a drive-through car wash with pressure washing equipment. A good place to rid yourself of two piles of quarters.
Go easy on the boat's decals!

$3.75 in quarters buys you four minutes of high pressure at the Meredith car wash across from Cumberland gasoline ....usually works good.
