Weekend stay w/ boat slip?

A few years back (3 at the most) we looked at putting folks up at the Margate for a Columbus day week-end -- The slips were $100 a NITE !! On top of a hefty room rate.

Thats why I said in my earlier post "if you stay there you might as well get the boat a room and tuck it in at nite"!! We ultimately put the folks at Bay Inn (Church Landing was in it's final year of construction at the time - to help date it). The down side there is the room rate when there are so many other more reasonable ($$) options.

ThePlut - what week-end were you thinking of -- I may have another option.

Thanks for all the pointers. I've forwarded them to my mother (this may be a 60th birthday gift for my dad). No weekend in particular yet, his birthday is in Sept, but I'm sure they'd do something earlier than that...
