I dive around there-right near Greenes. At 20-30 feet the water gets just plain dark-seems to be particulate suspended in the water. Certainly not the best viz but doable for scuba. After about 20 feet I often need my halogen dive light. Water is great, just on the dark side compared to other areas of the lake. I suspect due to its shallow depths overall and all the nooks and crannies-it just doesn't circulate as well as it should.
