You have no idea what you're talking about, as usual, How could a blue collar worker in the 50's or 60's live on one income, buy a house, and have a comfortable life, in 40 hours bye the way.Who said socialism is good. let alone great. Look at the numbers, It's a fact. We all know you don't believe in facts, All you give is dumb little like anectdotes about about hard work.

He makes perfect sense to me. He is being sarcastic when he says that socialism is great - until you run out of other people's money. He is absolutely right. What is so hard to understand about this? What I don't understand is your response. What are the facts you mentioned, and what numbers are you referring too? And what do you mean when you ask how a blue collar worker in the 50's or 60's live on one income? What does that have to do with anything we are talking about? Please explain, I'm confused.

Of course he makes perfect sense to you, You're delusional. Off course he's being sarcastic, he's also using a straw man since no one was arguing that. The facts are the % increase in the gap, it's east to find, It's also a fact that the younger generation Is looking at alternative forms of gov due to factors mentioned above, one of them being the wage gap. I know you're fairly new to the forum so I'll give you my recap. I've voted for libertarians my entire life, Never voted for a national Dem, Meaning pres, congress, senate. I also voted for your hero in the primary but it took me about a week to realize what a mistake that was.The difference between you and me is you're blinded by ideology so you can't clearly see the problems. If you can't figure out how the wage gap is a reason why single income family's are a tiny percent of the nation as a whole then I can't help you. I think it was Twain who said " It's easier to fool someone than to convince them they've been fooled". I don't care to fool people or have time to convince them they've been fooled anymore. End rant.

I'm delusional...??? Every post of yours is more proof that liberalism is a mental disorder!! "You people" make no sense at all. I still have no idea what the hell you are talking about in your rant, but I'm the stupid one, right??? This younger generation is looking for an alternative form of govt because they have been fed a bunch of BS propaganda since kindergarten. They have been taught that America sucks, and is the source of all the problems in the world by the (overwhelmingly liberal) school systems. They are destroying what has been the BEST thing that has ever happened in the history of the entire world: The Constitution of the United States. Any American citizen that does not agree with this is sadly, ill informed IMHO.

The other day, I was watching TV with my Liberal neighbors, when a spokes-person stated,
Quote:
"Conservatives are homophobic, Islamophobic, sexists, ageists (think throwing Grannie over a cliff), racist, deplorable, anti-gay marriage, anti-gender-neutral bathrooms, xenophobic, war-hawks, gun-loving, anti-government, and anti-Socialist bigots".
I pointed to the TV, smirked and said, "My people".

They both laughed.

The reason they call conservatives all those ridiculous names is simply because they KNOW they can not debate the issues and come out looking like the winner. They lose the argument EVERY time, (unless they lie through their teeth!!) so they have to "destroy" their opponents rather than debate the issues. No true, red blooded American would ever vote for today's liberal if the liberal actually stated his beliefs honestly, ie: Obama!!! They have just gone way to far to the left, hence the reason why they fight so hard for open borders. (They NEED those people on the Govt dole for future votes...) It's just a "play" in their playbook that they have been using for many, many years... The problem now though for them, is that the people are now realizing they have been getting "played" for all these years, and are realizing what the truth is, and it is starting to backfire on them starting with the election of Trump...!!! The results of these upcoming mid term elections will tell us all we need to know as to where the "majority" is in this country. Funny, all you hear about is the "blue wave" that is coming from the msm just like they said Trump can never beat hillary!! We shall see...

My reading comprehension is good enough to get around your spelling and punctuation, but again, what does this mean????? I don't even know what you are talking about. I am dead serious. I honestly have no idea what you are talking about. It's like I'm trying to read something in a foreign language I don't read or speak!!! I will send you my cell phone number in a PM if you think that would help you explain, since you can't (or won't) do it on line cause I would really like to try and understand... Maybe someone else (Rusty) can explain your message to me, since he seems to agree with you. I am really confused... Somebody, pleeeeeeease help me understand this liberal jibberish speak...

noreast made an articulate explanation of his concerns about the wage gap and needs no further comments from me.

A "little premature cartoon" on the 16th?

But conciliatory on the 17th?

How about a cartoon that expresses a "primary Democrat ideal"—about the "treasure of Democracy"?

Yes, she really said it—at the debates!

So true!!!!! Remember when Chris Wallace asked Trump (at one of the debates) if he would accept the results of the election if he lost, and Trump wouldn't definitively say yes at that precise moment, and he got hammered by the media for days... He said he would want a chance to make sure everything was on the up and up before he accepted it. To bad he (Chris Wallace) didn't ask Hillary, (probably by design...).

Starting on April 15, 2019, paying the federal 2018 personal federal income tax will include a ten thousand dollar limit on your state property tax deduction from your federal income tax. So, if you pay $30,000/year property tax on a Lake Winnipesaukee mcmansion, you will now have a new $20,000 net cash pay-out in federal tax.

How does that feel? This is just so unfair ...... boo-hoo ..... and could make the difference for not buying a new motor boat. Gee wiz ..... our income tax is going up, so no new boat this year ..... maybe just a new Sun Dolfin Bali 13.5' family kayak for the low, low, low price of ...... don't a u-know ....only $250 .... at u-know where ...... the Plymouth Walmart!

With the new tariff increases on consumer goods made in China, will this $250 price seem like a steal of a deal, come next year? It is a steal of a deal and the Plymouth Walmart has two big blue kayaks left, as of yesterday. So, go beat the Trump China tariff increase on consumer goods and buy it soon.

I could only hope to be as smart, educated and well-read as you. I guess you haven't read much about Margaret Thatcher who stated that "the problem with socialism is that your eventually run out of other people's money." Anyway, I am sure you will continue to blame the wealthy for all of the world's problems, but rest assured I'll continue to blame liberals.

Let me tell you something here ....... rich or poor ...... you is better off rich!

If you want socialism, then go move to Cuba ........ adios amigo!

Down in Cuba, there's no Walmart with 13.5' Sea Dolphin Bali kayaks in medium blue, family kayaks that hold 500-lbs or two adults, two kids, and a basset hound, normally $495 ...... reduced to $250 .... two left in stock at the Plymouth Walmart. Down in Cuba there's no kayaks like this ....... all you can get in socialist Cuba is an old dead tree and you get to make it into a hollowed out canoe that maybe looks like a '57 Chevy Bel-Air if you are good ....... adios amigo!

Fidel and his brother Raul have very nice kayaks (and Fidel is dead), but for everyone else ...... all they get is a dead tree trunk.

If you save $250 on a $500 kayak, then paying for a ten dollar annual kayak sticker is not so much ...... plus it makes you feel like you own a small piece of the lake ...... the piece of the lake that you are paddling ..... and you own it, temporarily!

NOTHING, since Trump ran for, and got elected president. Something would of leaked if Mueller had anything. It doesn't matter anyways. This entire investigation was started on fraudulent premises, so anything they find will be for not since they went about business illegally. There is a "thing" called the Bill of Rights that we citizens are entitled to, and if law enforcement agencies get caught infringing on those rights, or don't cross their T's and dot their I's, charges are dropped. Even when they're made up out of thin air!! There will be no charges. A sitting President cannot be indicted. Our founding fathers were absolutely brilliant. It's almost as if they knew back then that the Democrat party would eventually go rouge with corruption!! I really don't think you realize what is going on here. You should try watching something other than cnn, all it does is dumb down it's viewer(s) with fake news. Luckily it's not many, but one is too much!!

You don't know and I don't know what the outcome will be of the Mueller investigation.
I just hope it is best for the country so we can all come together and stop all this hate and dscontent from both sides.

The hate is only coming from one side... and it's never ending. It's what they do since they can't debate the issues. They do it to EVERY Republican president. Think about it. Since I have been around, it has been Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Bush, and now Trump. They did it to McCain when he was running for president, but all of a sudden (lately) they loved him because he hated Trump. Hypocrites. They will only stop when they are in power, (God forbid). That's what it is all about to them, POWER, even at the expense of the country, they don't care about the country, all they care about is POWER. That's why liberalism is a mental disorder. The Mueller investigation will come up with NOTHING it was supposedly intended for: Russian collusion, (which isn't even a crime!!). I would bet my life on it.

Yes, they did receive a free pass. Look back on the confirmations of Ginsberg, Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagan. All sailed through with moderate to strong Republican support. You know why, it was the right thing to do. They were qualified candidates who deserved to be treated in a respectful manner. Republicans did not pull the stunts being pulled by Democrats. Robert Bork, Clarence Thomas, John Roberts, Neil Gorsuch, and now Kavanaugh, each a dog fight. Good men being maligned for political gain. Cal Coon said it accurately, the hate comes from one side only.

Look at how an honorable man like Mitt Romney was treated. He had a binder of qualified women to fill important positions and was crucified by the press. Nothing nefarious. If only he had a little of Trump in him, and fought back, he may have been President.

What backlash did Obama receive for lying to us? (Bengasi; "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. If you like your insurance, you can keep your insurance.") Clinton lied under oath and was never convicted by the Senate. Free passes to both.

The tone and behavior is being set by liberals. Look at how Occupy Wall Street and BLM protestors behave versus Tea Party protestors. How the left takes the law into their own hands and tears down statues instead of going through the process in a democratic way. The examples are endless.

I love that Trump fights back. He doesn't let one slight go unnoticed.

At age-72, Donald Trump is too danged old and DEFICIENT ...... an old time, crime boss ..... the crime boss in chief .... a mafia guy character from a movie ..... hope to see him in handcuffs and an orange, prison jump suit with a large 'P' on the back .... for money laundering scheme ..... for colluding to sell expensive Trump condos to Russia organized crime associates ..... in Russia, organized crime is the government ..... and Putin has him over a barrel ....

Between his sleeping late, going to bed early, writing tweets, watching Fox-TV, flying to golf, and flying to campaign events, how much time does he actually spend in the Oval Office now that Hope Hicks is no longer there?

USA needs Hope Hicks back in the Oval Office ...... she was age-28 and a very smart hottie ....... and Donald must be missing her ....... where is the Hope?

Definition of deficient: not having enough of a specified ingredient or quality ..... so what is he missing? ...... how's about dishonesty ......and he does not like dogs ...... which actually says a lot ....

You know there's a big, big difference between Donald Trump, candidate from the www.wwe.com, and Mitt Romney, candidate from the www.gop.com/platform ……. why, just look at their two hair-dos …… is totally different. One is real, and one is fake.

Yes, "they" do. If you were capable of being HONEST with yourself, you would see what I see... It's right there in your face!!! Couldn't be any more obvious. "They" are not even trying to hide the hypocrisy as much as "they" used to. Politics 101.

... talking about Donald's hair and sailing - good for the world

Why ...... isn't the Donald a sort of a sailor every time he steps outdoors ..... without his hat on ..... with his comb-over exposed to the breeze .... his hair can easily do an uncontrolled flying jibe ....... ready about ...... hard to windward ..... there he goes ..... the Donald!

"Excuse me, Melania, where's my hat?"
