Default Anyone

Done the Tamarack in the last couple years?

Sawyers is still good but is getting stupid-pricey. And it's a haul to go all the way back to the place by the winnesquam bridge.

Those were always our places, I wish Jons deli would get into it....

I've always found the Lobster Connection in Tilton to be consistently fresh and well made.

Don't know about the lobster roll but I recently bought over $300 worth of beautiful hard shell lobsters and they were magnificently sweet and the shells so hard we had to take a hammer to some of them.

Everyone raved about them so kudos to the Lobster Connection!

Default Clam Shack at the bridge

In Kennebunkport is my goto for all fresh seafoods. Bar none.

The worst place to go to is Sawyer's in Gilford.

Did Tamarack most recently 2 years ago--it was still a terrific traditional (large) lobster roll. I would gladly have one again. Compared to Castle in the Clouds, I would describe it as larger and (probably) less expensive is a more casual setting. But Castle is a completely different level on taste of the lobster. This is not to be critical of either, both are a wonderful lunch.

Having spent considerable years in New Bedford and Cape Cod, I prefer to obtain all my seafood directly off the boat. Make sure it is the first off and not the last. If you know the captain then there is no problem. Yes it is a long drive so enjoy the time in the car, top down possibly and do not forget the cooler.

It's been there for a very long time with change of owners and ups-and-downs. The place is an area icon!
