Those outboards are not loud by any means. Conversely, there are wakeboard boats that blare their music at 7:00 am, forcing everyone to listen to their style of music. This action is far more annoying than any noise from an outboard motor.

Understood, and I agree. I really appreciate quieter engines, regardless of HP. (I think I commented on that on a similar thread.)

Plus, those wakeboards are really bad for docked boats, the shoreline, phosphorous count, etc
