Thanks for the great tour, Dan. From the pictures, it seems like you lucked out with beautiful weather.

at first I thought that your guys were going way too slow, on those preteen trails, but then i realized that you were old like me.
i'm only good for 100 miles a day. looks like you had a good time.

Definitely wasn't going slow! The video does seem to slow things down. To give you an idea, the part of the video where we were going across the lake trail our speed was in the upper 90's. It doesn't look like it on the video however.

The average day was 200 miles. The most we did in one day was 265 and the least was 145 which was the last day. Unlike here in NH or New England for that matter, going 200 miles a day in Canada is actually fairly easy if weather is good considering how wide, open and well groomed their trail system is.

Looks like New Hampshire and Maine won the prize this year for snow coverage. Google 'New Hampshire snow coverage' and then go to weatherstreet to check it out. Also, click on the map for all 48-states to compare.

The golf course and nearby tennis courts in Waterville Valley, which obviously are out in the open, are still very covered with snow. I dare say ...... how very un-sporting for the weather to do this ......and.....where is the global warming when it is needed in a dire situation like this?
