Default What we (re-) learned from the first episode...

Have your fishing license.
Have your atv registered.
Leave skunks and bears to the professionals.
If you are on the water, fluid or frozen, wear a freakin' PFD.

Yeah, I know, you don't want to " 'cus FREEDOM!", or you swim like a fish, or you think you're indestructible. Until you're in the water headed for the bottom...
...and causing a multi-day, multi-officer recovery effort just because you are an idiot.

I liked the first one. Shows you how quickly things can go from a good time to a tragedy.

Love it. I didn't expect it to have anything much different than Maine but it's our NH!

Loved seeing NH on TV with no presidential candidates. How did they do that?

Secret Service is good with skunks? I mean after all they protect politicians and they all stink!

That first episode was excellent, but man it was heartbreaking. Both my son and I had tears welling up.

Default Snake in the Grass

Just watched the second episode of North Woods Law - NH. Did not know that there are timber rattlesnakes still dwelling in the Granite State. 🐍

About 10 years ago timber rattlesnakes were discussed before.

Don't get nervous no plans to do this in New Hampshire, (yet) but have seen articles that the presence of rattlesnakes was how our "Winni Rattlesnake Island" got its name.

Quabbin rattlesnake island plan to be aired by MassWildlife at public meeting in Orange

I agree. That thing was pretty nasty in my opinion....I would not want to run into that out there.

My home town of Glastonbury CT was supposedly thick with timber rattlers.

In my twenty years there I saw exactly ZERO.

Agreed I don't understand why there is a big fuss to increase their population. I have yet to meet any snake I liked.
