Cobalt, you said the old regulation limited the length to 30 feet. Can they be longer now?

We also use Image Awning and don't know if they still do, but at that time, they got the permit for us too.

This length must be for a permanent dock, right? My friend just bought a house on Winnipesaukee, and he applied for and received approval for a 60ft seasonal dock. He did have a civil engineer do the surveying including the depth of the water going out from his property. The approval came in with instructions as to setbacks from the property line, and the fact the dock was to be installed parallel to the property line.

Just questioning the length... back to the dock covers.

I said old regulation because I installed the dock and awning about 7 or 8 years ago, and don't know if the laws have changed.

Under these regulations , a permanent dock was limited to thirty feet in length, and the canopy or awning could not exceed this length.

A seasonal dock can be forty feet in length. I don't know if there is a length limitation for an awning on a seasonal dock.

Standard canopy dimensions on Winnipesaukee are 14 ft. x 30 ft.
