Rocks
if i have the cove correct ( may be thinking pickerel cove aka weeds) when entering from stonedam, the tiny island at the mouth of the cove is surrounded with tall boulders; particularly noticable when the lake is being lowered in the fall. stay in the middle of shore and island.
