I mentioned that I downloaded the form from their own website, but they assured me it was the wrong one.

The link above looks like the correct form, but it is also slightly different than the "G" version they returned to me in the mail.

When I noted the time, expense, postage, and re-work involved in filling out cover letters and sending all the same stuff back and forth, the auditor noted "It's State Law."

Like most rebates, they try to make it NOT easy, in hoping that you will just think it's not worth the amount of work to get your own money back.

I just called the state. The correct form is RT123

Don't forget... not only is April 15th the last day you can file your taxes, it's also the last date you can get your roll toll refund in if you want a refund on the roll toll gas tax.

Now is a good time to do it, if you haven't already.

I just received my Road Toll refund for boat gas. I sent my paper work to the state on January 21st. It took about 5 weeks.

I just remembered I actually dropped my paperwork off in Concord. I did not mail it.

Same here, just received yesterday. Not a large check but hopefully after this summer that will change
