They have a nice Facebook site. I stopped in this week for lunch. That is not their speciality, but the bacon and cheese scone was unusual and good. The breakfast pastry selection looks good and I'll have to try the Key Lime Pie one of these days. The seating inside isn't plentiful, but is comfortable. Overall, a nice looking place.

Tried it out this morning, blueberry muffin was very good, and the coffee and stickybuns got a 'delicious' review from my cohorts. We'll be back.

I live in Moultonborough and finally got a chance to stop in to The Cup and Crumb. They do fly an OPEN flag, so it's easy to tell. I did see quite a few cars in the parking lot too, which was a good sign.
I had a capuccino and a piece of crumb cake. Both were very good. They have a wide variety of coffees, teas, etc. They have all sorts of flavors that can be added to your beverage too. The Capuccino/Espresso machine was impressive. They had quite a variety of sweets too. They had crumb cake, sticky buns, whoopie pies, lace oatmeal cookies, ginger cookies filled with orange cream, I can't remember the other sweets in the case. They also had a quiche and ham and cheddar scones. In their refrigerated case, they had a beautiful vanilla layer cake (that's what it looked like, not necessarily what it is) that was being sold by the slice. They also had some lemon squares that looked great. There might have been a cheesecake, but don't hold me to it. So, overall, I think they had a pretty wide variety of beverages and sweets. The interior looks great too. There is a table for four as well as a few other seating areas for two people. The interior really has a great vibe. I wish the owners success. I will be back. I know my husband will go wild over the sticky buns. |

With a few minutes on my hands, I did finally stop in to the new shop. It is quite nice inside. The place is very welcoming. I was greeted by the Owner's Mom who was a little frantic saying they were almost sold out of everything! That is great news for a new local business.
I had a cookie dough brownie which was good and tasted even better served on a "real" plate with a "real" fork! My drink was an iced coffee, more of the "stronger" blend that you will find at Starbucks. Not my thing, but it was still good. I will go back. The atmosphere inside was not the usual drop in for coffee and such in the Lakes Region. It seemed as if I were back in Cambridge or Brookline Mass. Not a bad thing and a nice change. Sort of felt like an adult again.
