If my memory still serves me, this is a 50/50 risk
, The Mt was in dry dock the winter of 2004/05 and again in 2010/11. 2010/11 was the winter of the engine change. There were 6 years between the 2004/05 and the 2010/11 dry docking, so we are one to three years away, unless they are having an issue.Just my opinion and I could be wrong on the dates. R2B |

The Mount Engine Replacement was in 2010... I know because that was the year I got Married. My wife and I also attended another wedding that summer, in which we met an usher who was part of the crew that put the engines in the boat. That year the boat was not in dry dock, because it would have made the engine replacement much harder.... She was I believe in dry dock the following year for some fresh paint, and typical repairs....
Remember the 5 year interval, is just a guideline, She may need to come out irregularly over the course of time, when problems arise.... Now someone mentioned the 3 year interval, I believe that is the time line for major inspections for commercial transport boats that fall under Coast Guard jurisdiction.

I really miss those old engines. The Mount just sneaks up on us now. With the old engines you could hear her coming a mile away. That is a "lake sound" that is gone forever.
