Loon Chicks

Hey Tis... we took a swing down into Winter Harbor and were going to hang out by the bridge into the Basin. We saw mama Loon and here chick diving for food. Mama would dive, chick followed, mama catches fish, both surfaced, and mama fed the chick. Cool to watch. But it was a little crowded, so we left.

I know, it's so much fun to watch them, isn't it? Baby gets a lot of his own food now, but Mom and Dad still help. They got more than a little nervous with some of the boats today.
