To me, Wolfeboro has more amenities close by, such as its own hospital, close grocery stores, just about anything a short drive.
Sandwich on the other hand has none of the above anywhere nearby, also no cable TV anywhere in town. Very rural, nearest ambulance is in Moultonboro, unless they are on a call. I think they have one or two full time cops, as opposed to Wolfeboro, with an army load. It all depends on your "feel", personally, I would prefer Sandwich. Also look at the tax rate on what you would be paying on your acreage, that might be a tipping point. |
