Snow mobiles?

We are in Winter Harbor, just seems pretty risky if you ask me. I am all for a challenage and a good time, but dang...thats just nuts

Plenty of ice still for that. There was even one clown with a truck on the ice at 19mi last Sat.

Yes, I saw two out from Long Island bridge this morning. There is water at that shoreline so they kept a distance away.
Seems nuts to me.
70 degree temps forecasted this weekend.

Walked out and chopped a hole between Glendale and Welch yesterday...still 26" of good ice. Brought a chisel instead of the auger-Big Mistake!! Shoulders are feeling it today-

26" wow. Still skimming from the shoreline and onto 12" of solid (not honeycomb or porous) ice here on Sebago. Gonna be at least another 10 days to 2 weeks.
