I'm being over-run at house with those stink bugs. They look like lady bugs,
I believe their scientific name is 'Kudzu Bug', they're actually a beatle, introduced from Asia into the U.S. Squish them, and you'll find out how they get their nick-name ! They seem to collect near inside window frames, not sure why? Been vacuming them up, but they keep appearing. I suspect there may be a nest somewhere? Can amyone on Forum give me suggestions on how to get rid of the pesky bugs. Are there bug traps which one can buy to control the problem ? As always, thanks for your feedback ! Bigdog |

The stink bugs I know don't look like lady bugs...they look like, well, stink bugs.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Br..._stink_bug.jpg Can't believe there are still some hanging around the house. Must be quite the shock when I boot them into the cold outdoors. I can say that those faux lady bugs do taste bad, as I had one fall in my yogurt once. ![]() GG |

o0o, I'm having the same problem. I keep grabbing them with a tissue and flushing them. They won't go away, and I don't know of a way to kill them either.
I'm surprised your vacuum doesn't stink at this point. |

https://extension.unh.edu/resources/...sonal_Invaders Like lady bugs they look for a warm place to spend the winter. The vacuum cleaner is the tool of choice here. They will be gone in the spring but will be back next winter if they can find ways in. |

Somewhere around you house was a way in before the cold set in. At this point they are not coming in but moving around and that is what you are seeing.
I believe that homes that use multiple entrance & exit doors will see more of these as you open up more avenues for them to get in. We have chipmunks and mice but no stink bugs and we have a drafty old 1790's home. ![]() We hate this house and can not wait to get ride of it but, no stink bugs. ![]() As mentioned these buggers are slow and patient, a vacuum will just give them a temporary home. Someone else posted, pick them up and flush them then they are gone for good.

I service the Lakes Region for Presidential Pest Control.. The best way to get rid of stink bugs and also other inscects that are trying to come in doors to get out of the weather is to have the exterior treated.... This will take care of those pests before they get indoors.....
