As I suspected nothing beats island living, and best of all that first morning getting up to watch the sun come up while enjoying a fresh cup of coffee at the end of my dock is something, so good in fact every morning I have been here it's been a daily routine! Sunsets are just as spectacular! Awesome!

Now that the deal is all said and done, I have one little piece of business to address. Normally I wouldn't do this in a public forum, but this is so well deserved, I'd like to thank my buyer's agent Nancy Deporter and the entire team at Spencer Hughes in Alton. Nancy was a pleasure to work with and I think was as excited for me to purchase this property as I was. She is so passionate about her work and loves the lake, especially helping folks like myself who are on a quest to get a piece of island property as this is her specialty. Her professionalism and attention to details really made this purchase come through - I cannot thank her enough.
Congratulations. What island did you wind up on?

I can say that after spending an extended week there, meeting my neighbors - all great folks so far it has been quite an experience so far. If there ever was a description of priceless, this is it.

Nancy-

You're very welcome! Yeah you gotta get going on your chair, my Dad is already probably working on #2 since he took about 50 pictures of the other chairs since he wasn't quite happy with the comfort of the original plans, as an FYI put more radius on the rear slats and give them a bit of a taper. To funny! Still what he did make is really nice.

Rattlesnake Gal -

Yeah I'm busted that was posted from the comfort of my camp, but I will say it stayed off the entire week I was there and I just needed to see if it was possible to get into work remotely to see if 'working from camp' was a possibility.

So to round this out, why not share a little bit more, sunrise and sunset.

Default Welcome to the Island

Welcome to the island. What number are you. From the picture it looks as though you are down around Nokomis on East Bear? We are at 426 across from Sheps.
