Arrow Water Temperature

From Lake Winnipesaukee Weather Cam:

Water Temperature at 2 feet: 54.7 °F

Water Temperature at 10 feet: 53.9 °F

Winnipesaukee Dataphone at the Lakeport Dam (603-527-0071). 52° today.

I measured 55 near the surface of Merrymeeting yesterday.

I was on the boat today in Green Basin and Moultonborough and fish finder showed 58 at 9am and 60.3 when I got off the water at 5pm.

In Grren's Basin on Sunday my PWC said the lake temperature was 60 degrees.

It appears the lake water temperature is about five degrees colder right now than it was in 2011.

The lake temperture at East Bear Island dropped to sixty degrees this weekend. Was near seventy last week.

Must be all that COLD rain and HAIL (during the big thunder storm) we had last week! And the cold nights (and not too warm days) haven's helped either.

IslandPrincess went in for a dip 2 weeks ago. Brrrrrrr!!!! I stayed safely on shore

Tuesday morning we measured a temp profile down to 10 meters at a deep site between Governors and Timber. From the surface down to 5 meters (16.4 feet) it was a constant 20.4 degrees C or 68.7 F. It has to be warmer today.
