A Ghetto Glider could also be a tricked out motorcycle. The routine was to slowly "Cruise" through the Hood...ie;.. "Profiling" ..at slowspeed so you would be SEEN by the inhabitants.
NBPS: Part of my upbringing was in Paterson, NJ, in the fifties. I moved out in 1959 when I went in the NAVY. It wasn't the Hamptons. |

There's one in red about a 1/4 mile from me as I write this.
