I remember the Aristo Craft from the 50s early 60s. I have most of the Bob Speltz "Real Runabouts", and other similar books..no Aristo Craft.

The boat pictured is no Aristo Craft. The Aristo Craft I can see in my mind is around 12-14' and made out of plywood..two (or three) tone paint, Outboard powered, 20-25 HP, low freeboard and racy looking.

It reminded me of a more utilitarian version of a Sid Craft, which was a race boat..outboard powered. The Sid was referred to as a "utility". You drove it on your knees...no seats. I had one with a Merc Mark 20H in the late 50s. NB
