For the guest who don't eat lobster, another entree is offered.

I have no idea how far in advance we could know what the other entree is, but I could check it out. I haven't been on many nightly cruises, but I think they do a nice job on salads and sides.

Can anyone give us a better idea of the buffets on The Mount? Thanks!

Our beloved Webmaster Don cannot make August 13th. That is the only Saturday all summer he is not available. He willingly said to hold it without him, but that is not an option as far as i am concerned. So, back to the drawing board!!

I agree. How about Saturday Aug. 6th? If it gets pushed out to Saturday Aug. 20th, it would fall on the same weekend as the past 2 years which seems to lock out the same group of people who were unable to attend in 2009 and 2010. Also, by the 20th some kiddies are headed back to school.

Meredith Lady and I actually do have a Rattlesnake Island sleep-over in the works, but I'm afraid our place cannot handle the whole ForumFest crowd or the extra boats for that matter!

I was thinking 11:00 am might be helpful for those who have commitments later in the day, like SS and Sunset Bob.

Sounds great! 11:00 am - what? 2:00 pm or 3:00 pm? 3:00 pm would potentially allow more members to drop by.

I have a call in to the Center Harbor Parks & Recreation Department to see if this date and times are available.

No contest without Don!.. In all of my years here, I only got to visit some of our favorite forum folks at a minni fest at Waldo Peppers! It Was HOT!

I still think that we should look for a annual date that gives all of us the chance to plan ahead for. Forum folks aren't always At The Lake, and there are other considerations that may bring us closer together. I would agree that it is not an easy solution, #1 that I spend lots of my time in Dallas/Fort Worth these days, and we have so many that are scattered around the entire World! ( now, backing off a little, NO One misses trfour

, ( shot at and missed many times ).

... Let us keep a bigger picture in focus though...

May all of the winter's snow leave and find us all in a better place. Summer is a more favorable time of year to get together!

Even though I haven't made it to one yet - not for lack of trying! - Don is a must at a FF! Without Don, there is no Forum and thus no Fest!

I went back to my high school reunion and had a wonderful time even though I had not seen many of my 500 classmates in all the years! Fun to reconnect; sad to learn that so many had died (20%); and grateful to have had the chance to be alive and able to attend.

I loved my first Forum Fest last year and hope I can go again. I made some wonderful friends!!!! Still it was also fun to see the friends I knew from age 5 to 17 and would recommend it to all!! Go and enjoy and look forward to seeing you NEXT YEAR if you end up having to miss the FF to go!
