Family Reunion help needed
Looking for a place for a friend to hold a Family Reunion.
Would need accommodations for about 26-30 people. Would be best around the Weirs area. Early Aug for a week. Any recommendations ???

I Would call the Lobster Pound and ask them if you can rent some of their lakefront cottages. Little inside joke here.
Seriously, call the Lobster Pound and ask for the owner and tell him what you want, plan a meal at their place, and if they are worth their salt they will find accommodations that fit your budget. In today's economy you can use a local restaurant to act as your concierge. |

Try Channel Cottages
Great spot and you can't get much closer to Weirs Beach!
There is something for all ages there from a beach for the kids to a little bar on the island for the big kids. You can watch the parade of boats all day long! It might work to rent several cottages so that different segments of your family can have their own space. I know they have a condo across the street that they rent too. http://200mail.com/cpi/channelcottages/ |

The Gunstock Inn has just hired a new chef. Very good, and a beautiful view of the lake.
