As a point of reference, just South of here, winds on Champlain of over 60 mph were recorded. Wave heights of 9 to 10 feet.

I'm pretty glad my boat is stored

Default Laconia Airport data

Here is the chart from 10/16. My wife reported seeing very rough conditions in Alton Bay with fishing boats keeping to the lower west side between Sandy Point and the Mt. Wash dock.

Default Crazy Wind!!

Yesterday was the roughest I have seen it out on Welch Island. I had to make a trip to the Glendale docks from Welch and encountered 4' plus swells! It was like that all day!

Still a nice day to be out on the island however!

Default waves etc

Before columbus day weekend I bought my last two six gallon tanks of gas, boat was to be pulled on the 11th, well sunday night we were able to go out and use one tank up. and then delivered the boat to Alton Bay on Monday. I returned home and came back up on Thursday to close the cottage. Wind, rain, and was I glad that the boats were put away. Thanks to my son, the dock was taken down on Wednesday. Had I done my normal routine, I would have been taking the boat to the bay on sat morning. I do not think I would have enjoyed that ride. The winds woke me up about three AM, and I did not go back to sleep. By the way, Rich Fiore has taken good care of me and my boat and has not taken me for a ride.
