I had a GREAT time. What a great bunch of boaters... Everyone was being safe and enjoying the run. The helocopter took 1800 photos.. I can't wait to see them all. Thanks again to the Donzi club for putting it on. Looking forward to next year.
.....................wakes???????? I think there were only 4 boats capable of making a wake out of the 40. (mine being one of them) Have you seen how small the draft is on a donzi. They are basically flat bottom. I was surprised at what little wakes they threw. So if you hit a wake, It was probably mine.......... sorry but at 45 mph I don't think it was that big.P.S. Wanted to shout out a BIG Thank you to all everyone in the Donzi club that purchased SBONH T-shirts or made a donation!.

Saw a whole bunch of you gents go by seemed like at least 50 to 75 all in a huge group at about 11:00 headed towards the broads. Also noticed the low flying chopper overhead too, at first I thought it might be a news crew from Channel 9 or something. Looked like you guys were having fun that's for sure and it sounds like you did, good stuff!!
Yeah you got to post some pics when you get them. |
