If you own a home and the boat is not too old you can usually add it to your homeowners insurance policy. Our 2006 Whaler is covered that way.
If not, you will need a Yacht Policy. Our 1976 Slickcraft is covered by Acadia Insurance.

Like SLICKCRAFT I have my boat with my homeowners. We also pay a greatly reduced rate for layup time ( Nov 1st-May 1st ).

I like BoatUS.......they have towing as well as many other services......go on line and compare prices with your local agent.
