Growing up on the Gilford side of the Broads we always enjoy hearing the Mount engines. Especially on the night cruise when you can also hear the band. At the beginning of the year, my mother would always say, after hearing the engines: 'The Mount is back!'.

So much for the memories.

Your Mom raised a good kid!
Think about it though, at least we can remember what she sounded like!
And I have saved her sound through some of the videos out at Mount Washington Cruise's website along with my own recalection from my very own big ears!
