Thanks for all of the responses--Looking for something at the Meridith, Center Harbor, Moultonboro end of the lake. We have a cabin on Rattlesnake--Thought it would be fun to sail somewhere and spend the night--Certainly schedule is flexible--thanks again
We are just sitting around here dreaming about getting back to the lake!!

If your looking at that end of the lake try Shep Browns, I'm sure with the economy all marinas will be flexible.

I'm pretty sure they rent slips for single or several overnight stays...

I'm glad this is being discussed. When I heard that no overnighting was allowed on Winnipesaukee, I never asked if that also meant at your own slip or mooring.
You can sleep on your boat at your own slip (provided that Marina approves)? Same w/ Mooring? anyone know? Thanks! Jon |

Here's your answer taken directly from the state of NH Marine Patrol website.
Can I sleep on my boat overnight? Overnight mooring is illegal in the State of NH, although, it is legal to sleep on your boat overnight while tied to a dock when you have the landowner’s permission. In addition, landowners must notify the Department of Environmental Services in writing. |

Sleeping aboard while in one's own slip is very common at most marinas. Silver Duck |

Some marinas like Minge Cove Marina do not allow overnights. Make sure you find out.
