I did some research after labor day and according to the NWS during the first two months of the traditional boating season...June 1 to Aug 3, there were only 14 boating days! I describe a boating day as not raining and with a temperature of 70 or above!
I didn't bother to break it down into how many of those 14 days in that 64 day period fell on weekends. Yep, the new law is playing a major role heh?
