Default 15% Ethanol nightmare

BoatUS Magazine recently had a blurb about the heavy-duty lobbying going on now by the ethanol industry to bump ethanol to 15%; If you think you have problems now wait until 15% hits the pumps.

BoatUS is perhaps the most serious lobbying group we as boaters have aside from the NMMA. The EPA has not done any-as in none-testing on 15% ethanol according to BoatUS but is being pressured big-time to approve it on that basis anyway.

Much like voting, you have no right to complain IF you didn't at least vote i.e. make your voice and position heard. We may lose this one, but not without a fight.

That being said BoatUS provided a direct link to the the EPA to make your position clear on this-I just did it-super easy via the web.
